What is your story about?  

Trendy Lies details what happens when Corrine finds out her fiance' is expecting a child...just not with her.

What do you want readers to take away?

I want readers to relish in the crazy Corrine brings as a woman scorned - and delight in her ultimate revenge.

 

Why do you write?

I write because words help me LIVE. Creating worlds that uplift, entertain, encourage and INSPIRE!

Do you have a day job?

I'm a self-employed author concierge  - I write the synopsis, BIOs, edit, ghostwrite, outline and so much more. I'm also an Emmy Award-winning choreographer, dance instructor, dancer and independent filmmaker. 

 

What's your dream job?  All facets of the arts; I ultimately want to do what I do...but on a grander scale, along with screenwriting. I also aspire to be a TACO brand ambassador. For real. 

 

Where would you like to be professionally in 5 years?

In five years, I want to have penned a number of best-selling books, as well as have television deals and adaptations to the big screen in place. I plan for the world to know the name Candice "Ordered Steps" Johnson. And I plan to also dance at least one time on The Masked Singer.

What would people be shocked to know is on your playlist?  

Anything from 90's hip-hop. I know all the lyrics and will rock out in a heartbeat. I used to want to be the first "Girl" in Heavy D & The Boyz.
